HTML scraping is too heavy for AI agents. It costs too many tokens and creates errors. We need a faster way to transmit data.
CommerceTXT is a text-based protocol. It lives at the domain root, like robots.txt. It delivers real-time pricing and inventory data without the HTML overhead.
It relies strictly on Schema.org vocabulary.
We want to ensure our implementation honors your standards. We do not want to fragment the ecosystem.
Please review the specification. We value your advice on mapping Schema types to this flat text format.
